Consular & Visa Matters

►   Visa processing time: All visa applicants are strongly advised to apply at least 5-10 working days in advance of their anticipated travel, especially during holiday seasons. Approved applicants will be told when they may pick up their passports.

►   Applicants should not purchase plane tickets or make irrevocable travel plans before obtaining a visa. In some cases, visa applications requiring special processing can take several weeks but on average, the Consular Section attempts to make visas ready within 2 working day; however, applicants must not wait until the last moment to apply.   The Embassy reserves the rights to decide on the length of time to process each visa application.

►    The Consular Section is not able to provide same-day visa service.
